BCG expands its roster of Middle East Partners to bolster its key practice areas in the region

UAE.  The Boston Consulting Group’s (BCG) today announced the promotion of three of its Middle East Principals to Partners to bolster its Energy, Industrial and Consumer Goods, and Public Sector Practices.

Effective immediately, Shelly Trench, Giovanni Moscatelli and César Sánchez will each serve as Partner for their respective practice. As a result, Shelly Trench is now the second female Partner at BCG Middle East.

In addition to this, BCG welcomes Arun Bruce, who is currently Partner and Director at its Mumbai Office, to further bolster its talent in the Middle East and solidify its market position in the region.

Today, the expansion of the firm’s partner group marks its steadfast dedication to strengthening its sector-specific expertise, widening its client portfolio, and driving new market growth in the region.

Today, Shelly Trench becomes a Partner within the Energy practice making her the second female Partner at BCG Middle East. Shelly has led internationally notable projects on strategy, large scale IPO preparation, sustainability, innovation, climate change and cost management.  Shelly started her career as a Petroleum Engineer and has had extensive experience with BCG in office across the United States, Asia, and the Middle East.

Giovanni Moscatelli is a core member of the Industrial Goods practice, with profound experience on strategy, transformation and re-structuring topics. Having worked across Europe and the Middle East over his decade-long stint with BCG, Giovanni continues to drive strategy, corporate development, operational excellence with a focus on Transportation, Logistics and Infrastructure clients in the region and beyond.

Having joined BCG in 2006 in the Madrid office, César Sánchez has since worked on projects across the Middle East and Europe. As a core member of the Public Sector practice area, his project experience ranges from public policy definition to implementation, government organizational excellence and service delivery. César specializes in large public sector transformations, labor market policies, welfare and social development programs.

Arun Bruce joins the BCG Middle East team from the firm's Mumbai office. At BCG, he has worked across Europe and Asia, mainly in the firm’s industrial and consumer practices. Arun is deeply passionate about, and experienced in operations, and will head the operations sector practice for BCG in the Middle East.
