Masterclass: Leading our global future for healthcare
Dr. Stephen Brookes, senior fellow public policy and leadership
Healthcare leaders across the globe face constant and ever-growing demands across an increasingly multi-faceted healthcare system. Leaders need to be equipped with the knowledge and skills to respond to these challenges.

This Masterclass will explore how to lead across different levels of healthcare in a timely, cost-effective and seamless manner, giving prevention as much priority as treatment and considering how different healthcare systems can be better integrated across diverse primary, secondary and tertiary providers. This can help in supporting a vision of championing healthier nations and allowing its leaders to share good practice with others and to learn from other systems across the globe.

Randa Bessiso, Middle East Director at The University of Manchester, comments: “Working professionals need to sustain their professional development commitments and personalised counselling sessions are an important opportunity to review career goals and direction with one of our qualified and experienced counsellors. There is an increasing range of high quality business education opportunities available in the region; in the Middle East, The University of Manchester is introducing new industry-led Masters programmes –the MSc International Healthcare Leadership is the first – and a range of executive courses to meet the growing demand for local opportunities, especially in the part-time blended learning format.”

The University of Manchester Middle East Centre has supported more than 2,000 part-time MBA students based in the region and has graduated more than 1,000 students since opening in Dubai Knowledge Park in 2006, making it the largest and fastest growing centre in the University’s international network.
